Overview of the curriculum
Our education is the process of facilitating learning, acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and habits. The stimulating learning environment and best practices provided, will establish avenues for innovation and creativity in teaching and learning processes.
Our curriculum is designed on the framework prescribed by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and National Education Policy 2020.
We promote competency-based education, experiential learning, art integration, health and physical education, etc to make our curriculum interesting, engaging and result oriented.
House System in school is a remarkable medium to infuse the child with the spirit of camaraderie, cohesion and competitiveness.

II. Beyond Academics—beyond classroom:
Co-scholastic programmes like performing art—Dance Drama, Music , sports programmes, special activities and clubs GK, Current-Affairs & Aptitude Program ,Life skill programme all have been weaved into regular curriculum to enhance inherent skills and competencies and provide enriching opportunities and pursue the areas of passion, explore innovation and set creativity beserk.
We empower children giving numerous opportunities to take part in various competitions, contests, activities, programs, sports events, excursions, field trips, etc.
These opportunities will help bring out the latent talents of children. Numerous co-curricular activities, as well as community service initiatives facilitate children’s learning on intellectual, physical, social and emotional levels.
Numerous competitions, contests and competitive exams both at intra and inter school level will kindle competitive spirit in young learners and to become passionate achievers.
Sports, literary and cultural activities at school and further at interschool level will help bring out fun, frolic, team building and sportsman’s spirit.
Events:
Various events like Environment Week, Nutrition week, Safety Week, Science Week, School Parliament Election, Investiture Ceremony, Science Exhibition, Art exhibitition, Special Days of languages etc makes the curriculum dyanamic.

India is a pious land of rich culture and incredible human race. A sense of love and pride towards their mother land will be instilled through National Festivals like Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, etc. Values of national integration, tolerance and patriotism will thus seep down the young veins.
Celebrating various cultural and religious festivals like Janmashtami, Rakshabandhan, Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, Garba Raas, Diwali, Eid, Guru Nanak Jayanti, Christmas, Makar Sankrant, Pongal, Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, etc. will help them know about other religions, cultures and their good practices and understand India’s unity in diversity.
Festivals like Guru Purnima, Teachers Day, etc will promote respect for the teachers and weave a special guru-shisya bond. Child is the nucleus of a school thus celebrations like Children’s Day is a way to energize this centre point .
Health is Wealth. Programmes like the ‘Fit India Programme’ will become an inherent part of Gurukulites- promoting the importance of health and fitness among all—children, teachers, parents and society.

Games and Sports impart the real education for future life. Sports instils qualities like discipline, mutual co-operation, unity and obedience of rules – the characteristic features which form the total personality of the youths.
Thus Inter House Sports events like football, volleyball, Table Tennis, Chess, Athletic events, etc for different Grades are a part of our curriculum and Annual Sports Meet –a must every year.
Training Gurukulites for the Interschool School Sports Events organised by DSO, CBSE Annual School Sports, Mayor Cup, etc is our responsibility .
Also Health and physical education is mainstreamed from Grade I to XII for the holistic development of children, leading to well-balanced individuals in all walks of life.

Educational tours empower students with a new and enhanced perspective to look at things and develop them into considerate personalities well aware of the world issues at large and in-depth. Thus trips and tours are a must to be incorporated in the school curriculum.
Field Trips: Various local field trips for all Grades for the purpose of study.
Class Picnics: Grade wise picnics for all Grades which will provide opportunity for children to come together and enjoy.
Domestic Excursions: Out-stationed domestic excursions from Grade V onwards every year to a place of historical importance, geographical relevance, etc. will serve as an interesting tool for learning

Pre-Primary:
Pre- Primary kids are nurtured to be caring, courteous and compassionate towards others. We develop their thinking, observation and communication skills through varied activities.
We emphasize on positive thinking and create an environment for all round development of personality of kids. We focus on developing qualities of curiosity, exploration, and discovery. We create a fun filled and happy learning environment for kids at our school.
The curriculum at the Pre-Primary level is full of fun, frolic and learning. We develop our curriculum at the school level. Our curriculum focuses on cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains of kids. We begin their journey of learning with confidence.
