Chairman’s Desk
Gurukul International School, Badlapur, with its motto “Transforming Knowledge & Information into Wisdom,” is dedicated to inspiring and empowering young minds. Founded 20 years ago under the guidance of my mother Smt. Ansuyaben J. Naik, who was teacher in BMC school. We started with just 2 students in 2002. With strong support from Chairperson & Principal Mrs. Sonal Naik, and Mr. Kamlakar Ghorpade & family. We established Gurukul International School (State Board) in 2010. Today, we nurture 2800 students with innovative pedagogies, aiming to develop them academically, emotionally, and psychologically. After the success of Gurukul International School(state board) and on demand of parents and localites of Badlapur we decided to start Gurukul International School were we are committed of creating learners who are scientific, empathetic, imaginative, and humble.

Education is a process by which character is moulded, the strength of mind is multi-folded, intellect is wielded, and thereby—a composed personality for the refinement of society is sculpted.
My father, Late Shri. Bhagaji Ghorpade, an educationist, believed in nurturing every child’s potential. Fifty years ago, he founded “Adarsh Vidyamandir” in Badlapur (East), providing equal opportunities for all. Continuing his legacy, I joined Mr. Hitubhai Naik, Chairman of Gurukul International School (SSC), focusing on holistic development of young minds.
With the construction of a new wing for Gurukul International School starting from the academic year 2023-24, we aim to provide learning experiences that stimulate every child’s confidence, commitment, and character. Let’s unite to foster independent, creative thinkers and inspiring leaders, and together, give the world individuals who are not just educated, but empowered to make a difference.

After a decade serving as a teacher, co-ordinator for Pre Primary, Primary and Secondary classes, I held the mantle of Principal in CBSE schools. With this experience of almost 20years I the Principal of Gurukul International School has the sacred responsibility to ensure the holistic and all round development of students. The opportunity to collaborate with everyone, to continue to build a safe and positive culture and programme, that are multidisciplinary , innovative and centred on real world problem solving is what I look forward every day.
Our loving mentors unlock imagination, blending education with creativity. We conduct activities to instil psycho-social skills like critical thinking, communication, stress management, and problem-solving.
